What should i expect in my first appointment?
Your initial consult at TOC will be 1hr long so that we can get to know you & your body! We will run through a detailed history about your complaint as well as a general medical history.
We will then examine your movement and perform any other special examinations (neuro etc.) that may be relevant to your complaint. After your examination we will explain your diagnosis & devise a treatment plan to get you to your goals.
We will then get started with treatment, generally on the table with a hands on approach. When you leave TOC you should have a thorough understanding of your complaint, why it has happened, the tools to help manage it and a plan to get you to your goals. Whether that be getting out of pain, increasing function, running an extra km, touching your toes or simply prevention.
